Savvy: Hi Kia. We like your tattoo.
Kia: Thanks. It is “Pure Pleasure” in Japanese characters. (Laughs) I lost a bet in high school where my girlfriend had to choose a tattoo for me. I didn't know this tattoo had a real meaning. It is everyone's favorite. It’s a conversation piece. Guys ask “Is it true?”
Savvy: I was about to. (Laughs)
Kia: I love tattoos because you can express yourself through your body.
Savvy: You certain express yourself through your body in these photos.
Kia: My photo shoot with Rick Hughes was probably one of the better ones I’ve ever done. He was so laid back and made me feel like I was at home. I’d love for the rest of my shoots to be like that. His vision for the photo and helping me along helps me to do my part. I was really pleased with the final results. Plus, I never really get to ever wear those outfits.
Savvy: (Laughs) You would get arrested in some places. I’m sure you get lots of requests though.
Kia: I give off a sexual vibe to people. Guys always want to have sex with me, which is kind of annoying at the same time. They think I am some sex nympho, but I usually have sex with people I have feelings for. It’s rare I have a one-night stand. Usually I end up having sex with someone on the third date, but spontaneous sex is the best.
Savvy: How long does it take for you to decide whether or not you’ll sleep with a guy?
Kia: With me, the first 10 minutes. The first thing I think about when I meet a guy I’m attracted to is whether I can imagine myself being intimate with him. I won’t even listen to what he’s saying. I’ll just be imagining us having sex.
Savvy: (Sits up, chest poked out) And how am I doing? (Laughs)
Kia: (Laughs) Working at Hooters, I get hit on ALL the time, so I make a rule not to go out with guys I meet there, but then it’s hard to get dates because a lot of guys think I am out of their league and I’ll reject them right away. Not really fair to me because I’m never approached. Some guys like to date models, but I’m not really into many of the model things. I love sports and playing video games.
Savvy: Who are your teams?
Kia: My favorite college football and basketball team is Georgia Tech. As far as pro teams, the Detroit Pistons, and I’ve been a die-hard Packers fan for years.
Savvy: Not the Falcons?
Kia: I do root for the home team, but I’m always for the underdog. As far as video games, I’m always playing any NBA game or football. I’m a big gamer. Whenever I’m not working, I’m always playing video games.
Savvy: So to get in your pants, a man needs to brush up on his Halo?
Kia: Probably the best way to get with me is to become my buddy, and then I can start to take a liking to you. But I seem to end up with the players who break my heart. They pretend to be nice guys, but eventually you regret the day you gave them your number. I’ve learned something from each one of them. I know the early-warning signs.
Savvy: Sounds like there’s some stories there. Tell me the worst one.
Kia: I was engaged once. Thank God I didn’t go down that road with him. We met off one of those online dating services, and three weeks later we moved in together. We rushed into it, but he ended up falling more in love with me than I was with him, so about 2 1/2 years into the relationship, I tried to get out. He had cheated on me so much that he proposed to me trying to save the relationship.
Savvy: Wow. What did you do?
Kia: I didn’t know what to say other than “yes” because I did love him and wanted to give him a chance, plus it was my first serious relationship. At the same time, I had no idea how crazy he was. He was mean to me, yet insecure because he knew he did not deserve me. When I left him, he didn't want anyone else to have me. He wanted to control my life. He got jealous if his friends noticed me in a sexy picture.
Savvy: But that's your job.
Kia: I realized I didn’t know who I was because I was doing things he wanted to do trying to make him happy. There was never any compromise or letting me do something I wanted to do. Every day we had to go to the gym. I hated working out every single day. He also had a dog that viciously attacked me three times. The state told him he had to put the dog down. I told him it was either me or the dog, and he chose the dog.
Savvy: (Laughs) Oh my God! Sorry to laugh!
Kia: He ended up marrying a girl who looks just like me and acts just like me and has done everything I’ve done as far as career path. I decided I will never ever date anyone else who is so mean to me but says he loves me at the same time.
Savvy: Live and learn. What sort of guy do you like?
Kia: I have a thing for brainy guys who make me laugh. I’m also attracted to athletes, but a guy doesn’t have to be athletic as long as he respects me and treats me right, the same way he would treat his mother.

Savvy: Sweet. What’s the best sex you’ve ever had?
Kia: My first time with a female. I was actually taken advantage of. I was 20 and she was a big upcoming actress in L.A. She was sort of a tomboy-type like Angelina Jolie. She kissed me, and I just went for it. I liked it. It came so natural, as if I was a lesbian my whole life.
Savvy: Wait, I’m confused. You’re a lesbian?
Kia: No. I’ve been with other women before, but as more of an experimental thing. I won’t knock anything until I’ve at least tried it. Women are very beautiful. I get approached by more girls than men. They’re very aggressive about wanting to have sex with me. And then guys use me to get to the girls. (Laughs) Whenever I get my heart broken by a man, I’m running into the arms of a female. I like the excitement of it, not always doing the same things every time. The perfect man is really into kissing, caressing me and pleasuring me down there.
Savvy: How is it different with a woman than a man? I mean, besides the obvious?
Kia: It’s more intimate because men always want to skip the foreplay part. Women love the foreplay, being kissed and caressed, and we’re delicate. I think it is natural to enjoy sex with another woman because we know what makes us feel good. Actually, I prefer being with women more than I do being with men. Men move way too fast. Kia: I let him shoot a couple of scenes at my old place. I got to stand there and watch these two people do it in my apartment. Kia: I was taking notes while I was watching. He said the lighting is the most important part. He took me to the Adult Film awards. It was cool. Some of the people in the industry are pretty out there, but I had no idea how big and lucrative the adult industry is. I used to be scared of porn. Being best friends with him, I’ve learned a lot. I have a newfound respect for someone who can be on camera doing it. I’m always getting new porn films from him to watch, which keeps me from having to go into the porno stores.
Savvy: What’s in your collection?

I’ve been in four music videos, which were fun because they’ve all been with some big artists like 50-cent, Naomi Jones. You get to meet the whole entourage, but you’re working 16 hours on the set. There’s a lot going on on the set, as you’ve probably heard, but with the R&B singers, you get more time on screen and you are the lead girl. I’m always playing someone’s love interest, but in real life, I can never find love myself. Pretty ironic.
Savvy: What's your dream part in a movie?
Kia: I’d love to play a challenging role. I’d love to play a lesbian opposite Gabrielle Union. That would be the best movie ever, and I read in a magazine interview where she’d love to get a role like that.
