I would be interested to know too if there is any simple way to search files on K2S - not only porn but general files. I have a feeling I once found a search tool/engine for K2S but cannot find anything useful now.

One would dare to suggest a reason why imagehosts and filehosts generally don't have a search function, and why search engines for hosts either don't exist or are usually not publicly advertised, is so that it makes it harder for folks to find and DMCA their copyrighted content on those hosts.
I mean obviously it's not perfect and content still does get detected and removed, but as the saying goes, every little helps.

I sense that too - there are one or two sites that purport to be Rapidgator search engines, but all they do is search Google and return garbage results.
