So stick to an older version of FF (with automatic updates disabled), or try Pale Moon as outlined above.
However, if you scroll down that thread to Rookie's post, you can install IHG version 1.7.0.3.45, which I have tested and works fine (for now).

Been away from there for a few days and they've moved!
IHG seems to be borked at the moment - I will endeavour to find a solution & will post any findings.
The latest host file update is the culprit - the quick fix is as follows:
1) Go HERE and download the file hostf.xml in SenileDog's post.
2) In Firefox (or Pale Moon) click the down arrow next to the IHG icon on the address bar, click on Host File Editor, then click 'Pick Host File' and locate the file you have downloaded.
3) Job done.

Be mindful that older versions of IHG will no longer work due to a server change, so it is imperative to update.. bearing in mind the advice in post #6 of this thread.
The latest version of IHG is 1.7.0.4 - older ones will no longer work - see posts #6 and #23.

As i found out earlier when i tried to download stuff. I just ended up with a folder of warning pics telling me it was out of date lol.
