The ImageHostGrabber (IHG) Support Thread

A bit of a kerfuffle especially if it is a collection type thread, but you can change the number of posts VG displays per thread.

1) Click on Settings.

2) Go to General Settings

3) Under 'Thread Display Options' look for 'Number of Posts to Show Per Page' and try changing it to 5 or 10. [I have it set at 10 so that collection thread pages don't take so long loading up.]

That doesn't work when ripping collections - it's one of IHG's major weaknesses.

IMG has been slowing down PaleMoon all day. I can barely rip any galleries now. I even downloaded WaterFox Classic and installed the lastest IMG extension on its website to avail on my issue. It continues to make the window unresponsive everytime I use the extension. And then I got this prompt here. What do I do?

IMG is struggling grab images on both Pale Moon and WaterFox Classic. It's been a horribly time consuming process today(even had to rewrite this thread reply) and VRipper is looking just as slow for me. Anyone have solutions to this?

I'd suggest doing a complete uninstall of Pale Moon, followed by a fresh re-install.

Try using REVO in advanced mode which is more effective than just using a program's uninstaller.

The last entry at IHG is from December 23rd, 2023, but no response. The same with the entry from September 23, 2023.
I would say - nothing happens anymore.
I use VRipper (only the portable version) and am happy with it. Try it out, the portable version can be easily deleted without leaving any traces.
Unfortunately, it only works with vipergirls

Yea that forum is pretty much dead. It could do with one of the more techie types here on VG to take over the IHG development project.

ImageVenue hasn't been working with IHG for a while. Here's a fix I saw on another forum. I tried it and it seems to work.

The Host file has 2 imagevenue entries: imagevenue.com and imagevenue.com-2.

Edit the imagevenue.com entry. Here is the URL pattern and search pattern that is functioning:

URL pattern: ^https?:\/\/.*imagevenue\.com\/.*

Search pattern: <img\s+src="([^"]+)"\s+id="main-image"

Edited to add: I just downloaded a couple thousand legacy IV images that I could not get a couple months ago. All downloaded without issues.

I realise this post dates back to October 2023.
However, the fix for IHG imagevenue worked a treat for me, which was nice.
And this worked on old Palemoon and IHG versions running on an even older OpenSUSE repo.

I have found that to be an issue with the latest version of IHG, 1.7.0.6

Downgrading to version 1.7.0.5.beta3 solves this problem entirely.

Does anyone have a link to this beta - can't find it on the net.

Trying to download multiple pages on turboimagehost.
